India, the land of diverse culture is well known for its delectable multi-cuisine. In fact, there isn’t a better way to experience the soul of India than trying out its variety of food on offer this upcoming Festival ‘Taste of India’ brings.

The mega Food Fest brings together the best of the best from the Indian sub-continent. This sprawling, outdoor festival has plenty of stalls set up in an open air market serving all varieties of Indian delicacies including Masala Dosa, Ghee Dosa, Plain Dosa, Idly & Sambar, Poori, Fried Rice & Butter Chicken, Chicken Biriyani, Samosas, and everything in between.

With numerous stalls featuring range of food, drink, farm grown honey, homemade cakes, this is perhaps the mother of all Indian delicacies in terms of variety. In addition to some mouth-watering Indian delicacies, the festival offers plenty of sweets and refreshing drinks.

This food feast not only features traditional Indian food, but includes various entertainment activities. Taste of India is also one of the kids-friendly festivals as there is a dedicated section for the children where they can enjoy playing games.

Taste of India is a fundraising event and part of the proceeds will go towards different Charities in Australia. Entering its first year, this Spring Food festival also aims to honour the farmers and celebrate the harvest season, and of course eating is a big part of that celebration. The organizers of this event focus on recipes that are made from authentic Indian ingredients and aromatic herbal spices. The festival offers a great opportunity for the local community to palate the Indian dishes that are delicious and nutritious.

Come and enjoy a good time amidst delectable food, drinks and music. As the name suggests, the event brings some fabulous tastes of India to the visitors. Yes, from scrumptious food to refreshing drinks to grooving music to the cosy ambiance are all coming for you in this festival.
